This page explains how to request cancellation, how to ask BOTEN to delete personal data, what may be retained under the Privacy Policy, and how to contact BOTEN about access, correction or deletion requests.
How to cancel a subscription
You can request cancellation through the BOTEN WhatsApp conversation or by email. BOTEN may ask for account details needed to verify the request before changing billing or access.
Cancellation channels
- WhatsApp: +972 53-717-2151
- Email: info@boten.biz
- Suggested message: “I want to cancel my BOTEN subscription.”
Identity verification
To protect the account, BOTEN may ask for the name on the account, the registered WhatsApp number, and business or subscriber details where relevant.
Refund handling
Refund eligibility depends on the plan, purchase date, actual use, and applicable consumer-protection law. The final refund terms are the terms shown to the customer before purchase and the applicable law.
Event billing cadence and event-specific refund terms are still marked for Omer/legal confirmation before publication. Do not treat this page as creating a one-time event refund promise.
After cancellation
- Access may remain available until the end of the paid period, depending on the plan and cancellation timing.
- Payment processing is handled by Grow by Meshulam; BOTEN does not store full credit-card details.
- Accounting records may be retained where required for tax, billing or legal obligations.
How to request data deletion
You can request deletion from the BOTEN WhatsApp conversation or by email. BOTEN acknowledges deletion requests within one business day and completes deletion within up to 30 business days, subject to legal retention obligations.
What to send
- Your name or business name.
- The WhatsApp number connected to the BOTEN account or conversation.
- A clear request, for example: “I request deletion of my BOTEN data.”
What can be deleted
- Conversation content and related metadata, according to the retention policy.
- Private Space information associated with the subscriber, where no legal retention duty applies.
- Business or event knowledge supplied by the subscriber, where no legal retention duty applies.
- Lead summaries, event data and album metadata where deletion is legally and operationally permitted.
Retention periods from the Privacy Policy
The current privacy materials define different retention periods for different data types:
- Conversation content: retained for 90 days from the end of the conversation, for reporting and support, then deleted automatically.
- Conversation summaries and aggregate reports: retained for 12 months, then deleted or moved to anonymous archive.
- Customer and subscription details: retained during the subscription and up to 36 months after it ends for legal, accounting and tax purposes.
- After cancellation: data may remain available for 30 days to allow return, then move to archival storage and be finally deleted after 36 months where legally allowed.
- Payment data: stored by Grow by Meshulam. BOTEN keeps only basic accounting records such as amount, date and reference number.
What may remain after a deletion request
Some information may be retained even after a deletion request if BOTEN is legally required or permitted to keep it.
- Tax, accounting and billing records.
- Records required to comply with legal obligations or court orders.
- Security, abuse-prevention or dispute records where retention is legally justified.
- Anonymous aggregate information that no longer identifies a person or subscriber.
